Worse still, the removal of government subsidies has caused petrol and diesel costs to rise by up to 500%, leading to significant inflation that has caused the prices of food, consumer products, transportation, and many goods and services to skyrocket.

As a result of falling sales (due to weak consumer spending) and rising costs, many businesses are struggling and closing down. Interestingly, every tough economy causes changes that create both problems and opportunities.

But, unfortunately, most people focus more on the problems than the opportunities that are available for innovation, growth, profit, diversification, and wealth creation in a tough economy.

ABOUT THE HOST

John-Paul Iwuoha is a business activator who works with entrepreneurs to fix tough business problems and unlock the potential of startup and growth-stage businesses.
